Let's Spice Up Your Wardrobe!
As girls, most of us all have an obsession with shopping, especially for clothes. The company being discussed for this blog is Audacious Pittsburg Boutique. Audacious Pittsburg is a small clothing boutique based out of Pittsburg, Kansas. The reason that this company stands out is because of its wide variety and unique clothing lines. While many other clothing boutiques have similar items, this boutique goes above and beyond. Their products are unique, trendy, and affordable. Perfect for every customer to find a piece that is unique just like them. Which makes this boutique a great place for those who need a last-minute outfit for an event, or just a shopping day with the girls.
Audacious Pittsburg is a boutique that has made its impact on the town over the last few years with a strong social media strategy. They currently only have one location there in Pittsburg, but they also have a website customers can shop from. Audacious Pittsburg’s target audience of women aged from 16 to 50 years old is focused on demographic segmentation. While they welcome everyone to shop their products, they mainly focus on the locals within the community. Which consists of Millennials and the Gen-Z population who are looking for trendy fashion at a great price. They target young college students who are searching for trendy game day outfits, party outfits, or even comfy study clothes.
For any business, social media can be a positive thing. It can help any company reach new customers, and increase brand awareness. Audacious Pittsburg uses Facebook and Instagram to help promote their products and build a relationship with existing and potential customers. Due to them being a small company, they do not have a designated employee to market their social media accounts. Marketing coordinators can be beneficial for Audacious because they are able to see what products customers are buying and their reviews of the products.
Audacious Pittsburg has a pretty decent social media and marketing success due to its customers. We are notorious for making poor decisions at withstanding the lure of free giveaways. It`s because free stuff triggers the sensation of joy and positivity, which impacts heavily on our choices. Audacious Pittsburg does an excellent job of applying this human psychology.
They show incentives in several places on their website. In different pop-up widgets, there are incentives for customers to get ‘free products.’ And when customers sign up for emails they may receive offers like ‘refer a friend and get $10’ or ‘free shipping on orders over $150.’ Of course, all of these incentives don’t give you free products, but just make you want to spend more money for free shipping!
Currently, Audacious Pittsburg has a social presence on Facebook, Instagram, and their website. They have 2,028 followers on Facebook, 2,120 on Instagram, and many customers use their website to shop from. All of their social media sites, including their website, have regular product updates and information about store events. The posts consist of new products, products that are on sale, discount codes available for customers, and upcoming store events.

The store looks pretty cool, my style for sure. If the business became larger, I think they would be able to support a full time social media gugu. With the free products and incentives, it would be beneficial for the brand to run some numbers, to see these tactics are helpful; or are they actually hurting the company in return?
ReplyDeleteI’m sure most of the current customers and followers are in the area, but with free shipping they are able to reach further. I think with a full time media specialist they will be able to increase their followers to include furthering their audience to other cities, states.
I’ve been seeing a lot of little boutiques post on TicTok recently. They pick a couple items a week and/or day, model them, talk about them, and basically sell them there. They generally will direct customers or interested customer to their website. Because this is generally a LIVE event, it becomes kind of a time-cruch for customers; they know if they do not purchase the item now, they may miss out.
Any who, TicTok or not, with a larger company base, the brand will be able to accomplish more content/post than currently. But, always remember quality over quantity.
Your blog looks great.
ReplyDeleteEveryone loves something for free, they should probaly offer discount coupons to gain more customers and contine with brand awareness. If this were a larger company they could hire a social media manager to assist with their social presence. That person could help them with all their marketing efforts. As for the free give aways, they should create something like an event day and incorporate the free giveaways in that. Creating an event will draw a crowd and this help bring in new customers and keep current customer coming back. If you were to bring on new personnel, everyone should play a role in the companies success. The social media manger can get everyone input how the compay should move forward with the social presence. Let employees come up with ideas for the giveways, event days and create a social calendar. Determine if you want to use discount coupons and how much will be discounted, and what days.
